MSNBC is supposed to hate Bill O'Reilly and his pathetic program, but now they're copying him. Today on Hardball, Chris Matthews fell to a new low in his journalistic career by employing the Bill O'Reilly time-filler of having a body language expert to analyze the Republican candidates. Maybe next week, Matthews will start doing the Great American Culture Challenge.

It didn't look good for the New York Times today when FOX News and other media outlets started running fake outrage pieces about how the NYT had given MoveOn.org a discount to run their Petraeus or Betray Us ad. However, on the O'Reilly Factor tonight, Jane Hall said that the NYT gives discounts to these political groups all the time, including Conservative ones. Of course, if I wasn't watching for those few minutes, I never would've heard that. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I don't hear it ever again. How are we supposed to form educated opinions when the media refuses to paint an accurate picture of reality? It's just shameful that they care so little about digging for the whole truth and the American people let them get away with it.

Update: Rudy Giuliani bought an ad in the NYT yesterday to criticize the MoveOn ad and got the same discount. Good luck finding anyone in the media that is retracting their uninformed outrage though.
